Australian Padel Tour 2023
Perth Cup
Welcome to the Perth Cup, part of the Australian Padel Tour! The event will be hosted by Padelwest in Melville.
Dates: Friday 3rd November 2023 to Sun 5th November 2023
Entries close: Wed 4th October 2023 10pm WST
Due to the fact that the tournament will be held on two courts, some regulations will apply:
- The Men’s division will be restricted to a 24 draw made up of 20 direct acceptances, and 4 qualifiers
- The Women’s division will be restricted to a 16 draw made up of 12 direct acceptances and 4 qualifiers
- Acceptances will be determined by the APT ranking at the time of the entry deadline
- The consolation for each event will take the place of the B division for both genders
- Qualifying will take place the weekend before the Perth Cup (28 and 29 October)
Format
- All Main Draw Matches will be the best of 2 sets with a Match Tiebreak (first to 10 points) as a third set.
- Semi-Finals and Finals will be the best of 3 full sets.
- Consolation will double as the B Division, format will be the best of 2 sets with a Match Tiebreak (first to 10 points) as a third set.
- For the Women’s A Draw, the round robin will be played, and the top 2 in the group will go on to play the Final to determine the champion.
- Match formats may be shortened to pro-sets should time become an issue.
