Rules & Regulations
Match Scheduling
- Matches will be played according to the published fixtures. Fixtures will be published on the 13th February.
- No refunds will be issued to forfeiting teams.
Match Formats
- Matches are strictly 1hr with a golden point to be played at deuce (40/40)
- At the completion of the hour, if games are even, a draw will be recorded
- The top two teams in a division will play a Grand final which will be 2 full sets with a Match Tie Break (10pts) to be played if 1 set all
Withdrawals & Substitutions
Before the Competition Commences
- If a player withdraws prior to the competition start date, a substitute of equal playing strength may be approved.
- A substitute may play and results will count towards ladder points only if no matches have been played by any team in the division.
During the Competition
- If a player withdraws due to injury or unavailability during the competition:
- A substitute may play for the remainder of the season.
- All matches involving the substitute will be recorded as forfeits.
- These matches will not count towards ladder points.
- The team will not be eligible for finals.
- The opposition team will be awarded a win on the ladder.
Divisions
- Teams will be placed into divisions based on playing strength at Padel West’s discretion.
- Padel West reserves the right to adjust divisions to ensure fair and competitive play.
Entries & Payments
- Full payment must be made prior to the commencement of the competition. $70 per player
- Players must enter the league with a partner. Please ensure only one team member registers & pays online – partners name to be added by the team member who is doing the online registration.
- Online entries ONLY will be accepted.
